Science Museum Oklahoma hosts family-friendly ‘Noon Year’s Eve’ celebration

OKLAHOMA CITY –

Families looking for a fun, early New Year’s experience are gathering at Science Museum Oklahoma for the annual Noon Year’s Eve celebration.

It’s a daytime event that brings a classic New Year’s countdown to kids and parents well before midnight.

The festivities began when the museum opened at 9am offering guests the chance to spend the morning crafting and building homemade cardboard floats using supplies provided by the museum or materials brought from home.

Throughout the morning, visitors are encouraged to design and decorate their floats, which will be featured in a parade through the museum starting at 11:45am.

The event culminates in a countdown to noon, allowing children and families to “ring in” the new year together without staying up late. All activities are included with regular museum admission.
