Monte-Carlo Fashion Week 2026 to spotlight sustainable innovation

Organised by the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode, the event continues to position Monaco as a meeting point for designers, entrepreneurs and investors engaged with the environmental and social challenges facing fashion today.

Sustainability and meaningful innovation will once again be central themes throughout the programme.

As part of this approach, the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week Award 2026 will be presented to Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio, recognising his long-term vision and impact within the global fashion and eyewear industry.

Currently Chief Strategy Officer of EssilorLuxottica and Chairman of Ray-Ban, Del Vecchio also heads the Italian division of the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation, which works to improve access to eye care worldwide.

“This award reinforces the direction we have chosen and motivates us to keep moving forward,” he said, adding that receiving the honour in Monaco, a place he has been connected to since childhood, holds particular significance for him.

The award ceremony will take place on Friday 17 April 2026, marking one of the key moments of the fashion week.
