We’ve spotted a super high-end MSI 32-inch gaming monitor for $200 off at Newegg, which is now reduced from $1,299.99 to $1,099.99. This monitor is great if you’ve got a very high-end gaming PC capable of smashing 4K at ultra settings with ease, and if you’ve already shelled out a fair whack of cash on, say, an RTX 5080 or RTX 5090 build, then it makes sense to pair it with something that’s similarly premium. What’s more, MSI has some incredibly impressive burn-in protection features with its QD-OLED monitors, which can help you buy with confidence, too. Overall, for a monitor that’s QD-OLED, 4K, and has a 240Hz refresh rate and a large 32-inch screen, this is a pretty good price if you ask us.

Key features of this MSI 32″ QD-OLED UHD Gaming Monitor

QD-OLED panel

The big thing with this gaming monitor is its 3rd-gen QD-OLED panel. These are essentially the top-tier when it comes to contrast and color, and they’ve made some solid improvements when it comes to brightness over the years, too. QD-OLED monitors combine Quantum Dot (or QD) with OLED technology. This results in improved color and brightness, while preserving the incredibly high contrast ratios OLEDs are known for.

4K resolution and 32-inch screen

Coming in at 3840 x 2160 resolution, this monitor is going to be ideal for picking up fine details, intricate design work, watching movies in native 4K, and reading text. 32 inches brings a monitor into ‘small TV’ territory, so this would be a good option if you’re limited on space and wanted something that could be used for productivity, entertainment, and gaming, without needing an extra screen.

240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time

This refresh rate is very high for a 4K monitor, and will allow you to game at up to roughly 240fps. It has a very low response time of 0.03ms, which is lower than your standard 1ms GTG found in most monitors. What they’re going to do is reduce motion blur and ghosting, which will give you a much smoother gaming experience.

Premium color

This monitor boasts excellent Delta E<2 color accuracy, making it ideal for both making content look incredibly lifelike and creative editing work.

MSI OLED Care 2.0

MSI has made some pretty big waves when it comes to burn-in prevention, and its OLED Care 2.0 suite includes both physical and technological features that can help extend this monitor’s lifespan significantly. On the hardware side, there’s a graphene film to whisk heat away for the screen itself, reducing the chances of overheating. On the technology side, this monitor is programmed to detect burn-in risks, like static logos, and adjust brightness, or even slightly shift pixels, to ensure it doesn’t damage the screen.

Things to consider

There’s not a lot to consider with this monitor as it ticks all the boxes for its premium price point. There are similar alternatives worth looking into, if you’re still shortlisting, such as options from ASUS ROG and Samsung, which are often on sale. Samsung QD-OLED monitors would be our choice if you were going for something that looked a little sleeker, as they have more premium finishing in our opinion. ASUS ROG monitors are excellent and have a very unique cyberpunk-esque aesthetic that looks great in gaming setups, too.
