Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Adam Fogelson has confirmed rumours that a major video game based on the “John Wick” franchise is in development.
Tech4Gamers has announced that buried within an earnings call back in November, Fogelson confirmed multiple titles based on Lionsgate properties were getting the gaming treatment.
Fogelson reportedly says: “Our AAA game opportunities and other gaming opportunities around John Wick and Saw and some others that we’ll be announcing soon.”
Fogelseon adds that “progress remains on schedule” and his company has “observed increased interest and opportunities” regarding adapting their IP
Lionsgate previously discussed a big-budget AAA gaming adaptation of the franchise back in 2023, but little has been heard since. Now it appears its moving forward.
The property was previously adapted into the 2019 tactical RPG title “John Wick Hex,” a small game that serves as a narrative prequel to the film series.
