Regional Music Shines at the Highlonesome Music Festival on Labor Day Weekend 2026
The 2026 Highlonesome Music Festival celebrates music, camping, and nature over Labor Day Weekend in the Missouri Ozarks.
Ava, Missouri – December 30, 2025 – The Highlonesome Heritage Music Foundation is excited to announce the 2026 Highlonesome Music Festival, taking place on September 4-6, 2026 at Dockley Ranch near Ava, Missouri. This annual 3-day celebration of Ozarks music, art and experiences in nature enters its 5th year bringing together people of all ages to enjoy camping and regional music in diverse genres, guided nature hikes, art-and-crafts, and more.
As the homegrown, grassroots festival dedicated to the Missouri Ozarks, The Highlonesome Music Festival aims to provide a fun, carefree, welcoming environment for people seeking to regenerate their love of this unique American landscape and culture. Attendees can expect a curated experience featuring local and regional Ozarks music, the mile-long Musical Forest with 7 busker stages in the woods, open jams, and award-winning storytellers on the Deep Woods stage.
