Science Future Part 3 continues the anime’s final season, which brings Dr. Stone to its concluding stretch. This follows Part 1, which aired in January 2025, and Part 2, which premiered in July 2025.

Dr. Stone follows Senku Ishigami, a teenage science prodigy who wakes up thousands of years after a mysterious event turns humanity to stone. Using real-world science, Senku sets out to rebuild civilisation from zero, while clashing with rival ideologies over how the world should be restored.

The anime adaptation is produced by TMS Entertainment and first premiered on July 5, 2019. Directed by Shinya Iino, the series became widely popular for presenting scientific ideas in an easy-to-follow and entertaining way. The story has been structured into named arcs like Stone Wars and New World to track humanity’s technological progress.

The original Dr. Stone manga was written by Riichiro Inagaki, best known for Eyeshield 21, and illustrated by Boichi, the creator of Sun-Ken Rock. It ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from March 6, 2017, to March 7, 2022, and was often praised for mixing education with adventure.
