It traces back to an internal ‘Make-a-Thon’ event at Yukai, where the team next sought inspiration from Yokai, which is a mischievous spirit in Japanese folklore. Well, these are definitely more tech-savvy and adorable than the labubus, who made headlines for their bizarre yet adorable look last year.
