When it came to style, the Annina in Pierre immediately spoke to me: a high-rise waist in a deep indigo wash with a vintage silhouette that strikes the perfect balance between a wide-leg and straight-leg look. Summed up in a word, these jeans are indisputably cool—and lucky for me, they go with just about anything.
On my average 5’6” frame, the inseam was a bit long, but that’s nothing a chunky sneaker or heeled boot couldn’t solve.
The Fit
Denim can be a fickle beast. The stretch-friendly options tend to sag after a few wears, and while the more rigid cotton blends hold their shape better over time, they typically feel stiff and constricting. More often than not, you’re swapping one evil for another. But this cashmere collection is different. Though I had my doubts, my wear test proved me wrong, confirming softness and structure can coexist without compromise.
Even after a long day at the office, there was minimal change in the overall fit, especially around the waistband and butt area. No saggy knees greeted me at home, nor did I feel the need to discreetly undo the top button to survive my end-of-day commute.
