A Fashion Week Swap Meets a Gallery Art Opening in Aspen

Fashion, art, and community will collide in Aspen this March for an evening that celebrates both personal style and creative expression. Kicking off the opening night of A Family of Artists, the Aspen Fashion Week Clothing Swap invites guests to refresh their wardrobes while immersing themselves in a vibrant gallery experience.

Hosted inside Meuse Gallery Aspen, the event offers a stylish and sustainable way to engage with the fashion scene while connecting with Aspen’s creative community.

A Stylish Swap with a Sustainable Twist

The concept is simple: bring one gently loved clothing item and exchange it for a new-to-you piece. The Aspen Fashion Week Clothing Swap turns wardrobe refreshes into a social experience, encouraging guests to rethink fashion consumption while discovering unique finds from fellow style lovers.

Throughout the evening, guests can sip complimentary wine, enjoy light bites and browse the gallery while mingling with artists, fashion enthusiasts and members of the Aspen creative community. The relaxed yet elevated atmosphere makes it as much about connection and inspiration as it is about clothing.

Come for the art, stay for the style and leave with something fresh in your wardrobe.

An Opening Night of Art: A Family of Artists

Opening the same evening, A Family of Artists brings together three distinct yet interconnected creative voices: Simon Bull, Bekah Bull, and Kurz (Jason Kurzer). The exhibition explores the ways artistic perspective, personal history and creative energy intersect across generations and disciplines.

Internationally recognized artist Simon Bull is known for vibrant, nature-inspired paintings that translate the rhythms of the natural world into luminous color and dynamic composition. His career includes serving as the official artist for the 2002 Winter Olympics, the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C., and Muhammad Ali.

Bekah Bull’s work blends Urban Realism with what she describes as Neon Romance. Her layered, textural paintings transform grit, shadow and expressive mark-making into bold, luminous compositions that explore the tension between darkness and light.

Completing the trio, Kurz (Jason Kurzer), originally from Flint, Michigan, creates poetic, layered works that capture the energy and rhythm of urban life. His paintings combine serendipity with intentional structure, evoking movement, complexity and lived experience.

Opening Night Experience

Guests attending the opening night will have first access to newly released works alongside collector favorites, all within an energetic gallery environment designed to celebrate the intersection of art and culture. The exhibition will remain on view for a limited time, making the opening night an ideal opportunity for collectors and art lovers to experience the works firsthand.

Whether you’re coming to swap a statement piece, discover new art or simply enjoy an evening of culture and community, the Aspen Fashion Week Clothing Swap and A Family of Artists opening promise a night where fashion, creativity and connection take center stage.

Guests can also join the Aspen Fashion Week 2026 ticket release waitlist to stay updated on upcoming programming and events.
