The Winter Olympics are back! From ice skating to the luge, Olympians have traveled to Milan, Italy, one of the fashion capitals of the world, to compete.
Recently on TikTok, Olympians have gone viral unboxing their massive swag bags. These gifts have the Olympians’ uniforms and merchandise gifted to them by their country. Team USA received swag bags from Ralph Lauren, Nike and Skims, so let’s take a look at the outfits from each.
Team USA snowboarder Hahna Norman unboxed the Ralph Lauren swag bag on her TikTok, @hahna.boards. Norman has posted daily outfit checks on her TikTok showing how she wears the clothes she received.
The Ralph Lauren bag consisted of many sweaters, including a version of the famous American flag sweater with the addition of the Olympic rings on the front. They also gave Olympians a “Polo Bear” crewneck that has the famous Ralph Lauren bear all dressed up in Olympic swag.
Other sweatshirts and jackets were also included in the Ralph Lauren bag. I am obsessed with the sherpa fleece that has a beautiful red-and-navy pattern on the bottom and the American flag and Olympic rings on the back.
The rest of the bag had Team USA sweatpants, thermal layers, t-shirts, a bucket hat, a crossbody bag and a backpack. The Ralph Lauren swag bag was full of classic, almost vintage-inspired pieces that make me want to take up bobsledding so that I might have a chance to sport them.
Out of all the Ralph Lauren looks, though, one stood out the most: the opening ceremony outfit. The look consisted of a long cream-colored coat with matching cream pants, and the real star of the outfit, a snowflake-patterned sweater. The sweater is chic, classic and has the American flag and Olympic rings on the front. Completing the opening ceremony look was a pair of brown snow boots and a hat that matched the sweater.
Team USA also received swag bags from Nike. Olympic Skier Grace Henderson unboxed the Nike bag on her TikTok account, @gracehendersonski. She has posted many Olympic outfit checks as well.
The Nike bag had an assortment of puffer coats, pants, t-shirts and bags, and the standout pieces had a bald eagle on them. I love the navy fleece that has mountains around the bottom and a bald eagle on the back.
There was also a maxi wrap skirt that had bald eagles on it. Henderson noted that she “does not see herself wearing it, but it’s pretty cool,” on her TikTok. I think this skirt is a disaster.
The Nike bag also had a few pieces that had color-changing details that changed with the temperature, a really fun and innovative detail for the cold of the Winter Olympics.
The Nike bag was definitely the most practical of the three brands that provided swag bags, as it featured a lot of useful workout clothes and warm coats, but also had the most ‘out-there’ items, like orange colored pieces and the bald eagle skirt.
Team USA Olympic snowboarder Maddie Mastro unboxed the Skims swag bag on her TikTok, @maddie_mastro, and has also posted many Olympic fit checks.
Skims provided the Olympians with a white fleece duffle bag, sweatshirt, scarf and robe, all featuring an American flag and the Olympic rings. Skims also gave them an Olympic version of their classic pajama set.
One of my favorite items from this bag is the red “Team USA” cami. It is super simple yet very flattering and proves that Skims was a great choice for Olympic merchandise. I also love the big white fleece robe; it looks so comfy and is sure to keep the Olympians warm in the cold temperatures.
Skims also gave the Olympians a red “Team USA” claw clip, a fun, trendy addition that nods to 2026 fashion for the Olympic Games. The bag also contained a t-shirt, pajama pants and their famous underwear.
The Team USA Olympic swag bags are almost enough to inspire me to take up a winter sport. From the polished, classic pieces from Ralph Lauren to Nike’s athletic gear and Skims’ comfy loungewear, Team USA’s Olympians are all set when it comes to style.
