The future of Greek entrepreneurship and the strategic integration of artificial intelligence took center stage Tuesday at an event co-organized by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Hellenic Competitiveness Council.

The event presented a study titled “AI Playbook: Strengthening the Competitiveness of the Greek Economy through Artificial Intelligence – Unlocking Scale Potential for Greece.”

Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou addressed the crowd, saying “Artificial Intelligence constitutes a strategic opportunity for Greece. With a concrete plan and targeted investments in critical infrastructure, such as the ‘Daedalus’ supercomputer and the Greek AI Factory Pharos, we are moving forward so that the country can enhance its productivity, accelerate the modernization of the state, and acquire a strong role on the European and international innovation map. Our goal is for technological progress to be transformed into tangible developmental benefits for the economy, society and citizens.”
