Cincinnati-based First Financial Bank has converted all Northeast Ohio Westfield Bank branches to First Financial locations.
The move follows First Financial’s November announcement that it has completed its acquisition of Westfield Bank.
First Financial has also earmarked $500,000 to its foundation to benefit local organizations in the Northeast Ohio communities it will serve, according to a news release.
The Cincinnati-based bank has Northeast Ohio retail locations at 2875 State Road in Cuyahoga Falls, 4809 Dressler Road in Jackson Township, 2923 Smith Road in Fairlawn, 4015 Medina Road in Medina, 1092 High St. in Wadsworth, 2 Park Circle in Westfield Center, 105 E. Liberty St. in Wooster and 8751 Brecksville Road in Brecksville.
All of the locations were previously Westfield Bank branches, except for the Wadsworth branch, which operates in a newly constructed building.
First Financial purchased Westfield Bancorp — Westfield Bank’s parent company, headquartered in Westfield Center, Medina County — from the Ohio Farmers Insurance Company.
Ohio Farmers Insurance Company is a global property and casualty insurance group that uses the customer-facing name of Westfield. It will continue to provide insurance services under that banner.
