For the price, this is seriously good, as you’re getting a refresh rate that can accommodate up to 320fps at 1440p, which is up there with some of the top QHD gaming monitors. For fast-paced or competitive games, this is going to be very good, and with its 1ms response time, you should run into much in the way of ghosting and motion blur, either.
MPCS and VRR technologies
So MPCS is basically a technology that’s designed to further reduce motion blur by using backlight strobing (or BFI). It’s good for competitive gaming, but it does increase flickering, which can potentially lead to eye-strain. It also supports VRR, which means you’re going to be getting reduced screen tearing, stutter, and smoother overall gameplay at high fps.
Thin bezels and pivot-adjustable stand
While this monitor may be affordable, we think it looks super premium with its narrow bezels, white body, and metal stand. It even has an integrated LED light for a touch of visual flair, similar in design to some of the Samsung Odyssey monitors, with their CoreLighting rings.
Things to consider
This is a quality monitor for the price, but there are some areas it scales back on to keep competitively priced, which you may find yourself comfortable paying a premium for. One thing that stands out to me is its lack of FreeSync Premium, which I’d expect for a monitor with a refresh rate of over 300Hz. FreeSync Premium has low-framerate compensation, which is vital if you experience big framerate drops and still need everything running smoothly. But to be honest, considering it’s a mini-LED, has amazing color, and geat-looks I’d really say this is worth considering if you’re sticking to a budget.
