If you’re looking for an RTX 5060 Ti prebuild for well under $1,000, this is the deal for you. Right now, there’s over $120 off this Skytech Storm gaming PC in the Amazon Big Spring Sales, and it has been reduced from $1,054.14 to a seriously low $929.99. Now, heads up, this PC does pack an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB, which has more raw power than the RTX 5060 and is better for 1080p and 1440p gaming, and it does look pretty stylish, too, which is a win, but it does also scale back in a few areas to keep costs down. You’ve got a Ryzen 7 5700 and 16GB of DDR4 here, which is decent in some respects, but of course, there are other, more expensive alternatives that will perhaps complement the RTX 5060 Ti more closely. However, for $929.99, this is probably one of the cheapest RTX 5060 Ti prebuilds we’ve come across, and it’s worth considering if you’re sticking to a firm budget and want a slightly higher-tier 50-series graphics card.

Key features of this Skytech Gaming Storm RTX 5060 Ti PC

RTX 5060 Ti 8GB graphics card

If you’ve taken a look at the RTX 5060 and think you could do with a bit more raw performance for 1080p and 1440p, and even some slightly more demanding creative workflows, then the RTX 5060 Ti is one of the best graphics cards to go for, that remains ‘budget’ orientated, relatively speaking. It has a higher CUDA core count than the RTX 5060, but you’re still getting 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores, the latter of which give the 50-series a very significant AI performance boost. This is perhaps most noticeable with the 50-series exclusive MFG technology, which can insert multiple frames between frames, for gameplay that appears much smoother and higher fps. For light to moderate creative work, it’s not bad, but the 8GB will be a limiter with some more demanding tasks. That said, for budget-conscious content creators, features like Nvidia Broadcast and 9th-gen Nvidia Encoders are big wins, especially for video editing and streaming.

Ryzen 7 5700 processor

This gaming PC features a Ryzen 7 5700 CPU, which is a pretty basic AM4 processor, and one of the ways this RTX 5060 Ti build can sit comfortably under $1,000. It’s decent for gaming, coming in with a 4.6Ghz boost clock speed and 16MB L3 cache, which is fine for 1080p and 1440p in most cases, but a larger L3 cache would certainly be better for high refresh rate 1080p gaming, in particular. It has a low TDP of 65W, which can improve performance at heavy and sustained loads, and keep PCs running quieter, which is always a plus, and its 8 cores and 16 threads are also pretty well suited for streaming, multitasking, and handling some more demanding tasks, creative tasks, like those encountered in Adobe Premiere Pro, for instance.

Storage and RAM

This PC has a 1TB SSD, which is fine if you’re playing a few games on rotation, and a pretty modest 16GB of DDR4 RAM, which is okay if you’re not planning on slamming the RTX 5060 Ti with open-world games and simulators, or other RAM-intensive tasks like editing huge files and super-heavy multitasking.

Things to consider

If your main objective is to grab an RTX 5060 Ti build for well under $1,000, this is a good way to go, as it’s about as low as you can get for something with this graphics card. Personally, I’d say if you’ve got the coin, you’re better off with a higher-end RTX 5060 build with DDR5 and a CPU with at least a 32MB L3 cache and 5GHz+ boost clock speed, which you can find when you hit around $1,100. It also will likely put you on the AM5 platform, too, which is going to give you some more wiggle-room for upgrades later down the line.
