There’s a brilliant limited-time deal going on Amazon that’s already 16% claimed at the time of writing, that we think is well worth checking out. This Skytech Gaming Azure PC is down $230, reduced from $1,879.99 to $1,649.99, and painfully close to its record-low price, too. This PC packs an RTX 5070 12GB graphics card, which is great for 1440p, a super versatile Intel i7 14700F, which is an amazing value considering its performance, plus a hefty amount of DDR5 RAM, too. Overall, we think this is a great deal and very competitively priced for an RTX 5070 rig.

Why we like this gaming PC
Graphics card
We’ll kick things off with the graphics card, which is the mid-range RTX 5070 Ti 12GB. This is one of the best graphics cards for anyone looking to game in 1440p, but at a push and with a few tweaks to settings, it can also be used for 4K. Primarily, though, it’s a 1440p card that doesn’t break the bank, but does give you access to new tech, such as faster GDDR7 VRAM, DLSS 4, and MFG, all of which make it a preferred choice over the last generation, and more future-proof in many senses. You can read our full RTX 5070 review here to get a better idea of what to expect in terms of performance. From our tests, we found this card frequently hitting over 100fps at 1440p at ultra settings, with some highlights including Doom Eternal running at 316fps at 1440p and 212fps with ray tracing.
CPU
The CPU in this build is one of our favorites from a price-to-performance perspective, and also a very good option for keeping costs down and ensuring that this PC can be used for more than just gaming. The Intel Core i7 14700F has a beefy core and thread count of 20 and 28, a high boost clock speed of 5.4GHz, and a large 33MB L3 cache. It performs very well with gaming, but also handles multitasking and demanding workloads very well indeed. It’s an excellent processor to have at your disposal, and one we find frequently paired with the RTX 5070. Read our full review here for a deeper dive into its performance.
Other features
32GB of DDR5 RAM should ensure an overall snappy and responsive experience when using this PC, especially if you’re running loads of applications or playing games with larger asset libraries, such as open-world or simulator titles. Its 1TB SSD is sufficient for getting started, and should be fine if you’re playing a handful of AAA games, but you may need to upgrade in the near future. Cooling with this build, as with many Skytech gaming PCs, is effective, high-performance, and quiet, allowing this PC to handle longer gaming sessions easily. And the case itself may look eye-catching, but it’s also designed to optimize airflow and boasts some clean cable management too.
Considerations before buying
As with any RTX 5070 build, one of the big things to consider is whether its 12GB of VRAM is going to be enough for you, as this is often a bit of a gripe with the card itself, especially with models like the RX 9070 XT boasting, albeit last-gen GDDR6, more VRAM and being similarly priced. We’d say it’s worth checking out those builds as part of your search; however, for something more recent with new technology, the RTX 5070 certianly delivers, especially with DLSS and MFG.

Is it a good time to buy?
We’d say it’s a great time to buy, as it’s only just slightly above its all-time lowest price, and it’s only recently dropped after being at full price from mid-September on Amazon. The deal is also already getting claimed, which is a good sign that others also agree with us that this is well worth the spend. At the time of writing, it’s 16% claimed, but this may start increasing as we enter the Black Friday sales period in just a few days.
