A delegation led by the President of Armenia has arrived in Greece on a state visit.
According to an Armenpress correspondent in Athens, the delegation includes Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, MP Hayk Konjoryan of the Armenia–Greece Parliamentary Friendship Group, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vahan Kostanyan, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan, Director of the History Museum of Armenia David Poghosyan, Deputy Director of the Forensic Science and Practice Center of the Ministry of Health Martin Aleksanyan, and others.
The visit has an extensive agenda. Meetings between President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Greece’s President Konstantinos Tasoulas, as well as Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament Nikitas Kaklamanis, are planned.
A meeting with representatives of the Greek business community is scheduled at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The President will also meet with members of the local Armenian community.
