The 6 Jewelry Trends I’ll Be Wearing This Spring Bobby Doherty
Spring is right around the corner, and I think we’re all ready to ditch the heavy winter accessories that have dominated our wardrobes in what’s been an extremely cold and snowy season (thanks, Punxsutawney Phil). Lucky for us, the spring/summer 2026 runways have a fresh set of inspiration ready for the new fashion season, and I absolutely can’t wait to try them all on.
That’s because designers like Dries Van Noten, Miu Miu, Tory Burch, and many more have some incredibly opulent and exciting jewelry trends for us to get into as the temps warm up. Crystal-heavy inspo had a major moment in Milan, with agate-forward pendants at Roberto Cavalli and eye-popping stones at Bottega Veneta. And don’t get me started on the layered locket looks from Chloé and Meryll Rogge that bring a sweet blend of antique luxury and middle school nostalgia. Next, there are the tiny watches popping up in the most surprising places and key fob details making belts everywhere much more exciting, thanks to Dior and Miu Miu. Sweet seashell details and rustic cord chains round out the season with an appropriate mix of dainty and outdoorsy.

Cords Galore
The fashion set has been gravitating toward longer necklaces for a while now (see our list of 2025 jewelry trends for proof), so it’s no mistake that the ’90s souvenir shop–inspired detail would take the length to an unexpected new place. Whether it’s layers of leather cord necklaces with a cluster of pendants, like from Ralph Lauren above, or the glamorized version from Dries Van Noten, you can’t go wrong with this laid-back nod to the days of yore.
Locket Up
Another day, another trend middle school me would have loved, taken into the modern framework by the art of layering. The humble locket needs no introduction; its mix of vintage flair and everyday nostalgia makes it the perfect piece to add to your everyday stack. Love the classic statement gold look of the styling from Chloé’s SS26 show, but wearing it open, as it was at Meryll Rogge’s Paris runway, is also a fun new option!
Crystal Clear
While I love a diamond and a previous stone jewelry moment as much as the next person, I have to hand it to designers this season who are spotlighting agates, organic resin shapes, and other large stones for a fresh look. This red statement piece, worn looped at Roberto Cavalli’s ss26 show in Milan would look so good with so many different spring styles, while the chunky choker from Bottega Veneta is perfect for a flashy evening out.
Unexpected Tiny Timepieces
What time is it? Time for you to get a vintage watch—something with a slim silhouette. Stack it with bracelets or secure it over a flared sleeve to add a touch of heritage to your look. The tinier, or the more unexpected, the better. The more the merrier, according to 3.Paradis, where multiple watches adorned a sweater and bag ensemble, almost like brooches. And at Lacoste, an atypical watch face took center stage. It all goes to show that watches are ready for their moment this season.
Shellmaxxing
Consider this your permission to bring beachy energy to your outfits long before the temperatures are tolerable again. Seashell jewelry (think everything from simple necklaces to intricate layers, like the tons of tiny ones featured at Balmain, and big baubles, pictured here at the SS2026 Tory Burch show) in both natural materials and metal versions is taking the spotlight for spring.
Key Fob Mob
Yes, keychains have had their moment dangling from bags, but spring 2026 is all about the fob, worn attached to a belt or vest, almost like a pocket watch. Of all the ways to dress up with vintage flair, this has to be one of my favorites, and we have both Jonathan Anderson’s Dior Homme and Miu Miu to thank for spring’s modern take on the styling of yesteryear.
