ASUS is set to release a new motherboard series at CES, and it appears that ASUS is going to bring several models under each family.
ASUS Shows Off NEO Motherboards, Featuring TUF, ProArt, and ROG Series Models
At CES, almost every major hardware vendor will be showcasing their new or refreshed products. From PC components to peripherals, you can expect a wide range of new products at the event. Popular hardware manufacturer, ASUS, is also going to bring some new product lineups at the event, and it has already started teasing some of these online.
Today, ASUS posted a short video on YouTube, titled “Stay tuned.. NEO motherboards are coming”. The 18-second video showcases ASUS “NEO” series motherboards, which will be released for the AM5 platform. Various new motherboard models are teased from different angles, revealing what one can expect, but of course, not much has been revealed regarding their specs or features.
We do see the NEO lineup containing the popular ASUS motherboard families like ROG, TUF Gaming, and ProArt Creator series, but it’s unknown what exact changes the new models will bring. Almost all the motherboard manufacturers have already released their AM5 800 series motherboards nearly a year ago, but the NEO series looks to be just a refresh.

We may see improved connectivity features and improvements here and there, but one shouldn’t expect any major changes. It appears that the model names of these motherboards will have “NEO” at the end to indicate a change, as we can see in one of the close shots, where the motherboard name ends with “WIFI7 NEO”. So, it’s expected that ASUS will keep the current motherboard names of the existing models and will add “NEO” at the end to distinguish the updated versions.
