MADISON (WLUK) — Wisconsin Badgers guard John Blackwell says he’s entering the NBA Draft process and the transfer portal.
“I want to share that I won’t be returning to play for the Badgers next season,” Blackwell wrote on social media Monday morning.
“This was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make because my experience here has been nothing short of incredible,” he continued.

The junior ends his Wisconsin career with 1,519 total points in a Badgers uniform. He was second on the team with 19.1 points per game in 2025-26.
