HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A benefit concert celebrating inclusion and World Autism Acceptance Day is set for Thursday evening.
Easterseals Hawaii is hosting “Music for All” on April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the Hawaii Theatre, featuring performances by Kawika Kahiapo and Grammy-nominated reggae band The Green.
Organizers say the event will bring the community together through music while raising funds for programs supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy.
“World Autism Acceptance Day reminds us that inclusion means creating communities where everyone is welcomed and valued,” said Easterseals Hawaii CEO Patrick Klein. “‘Music for All’ embodies that inclusive spirit perfectly. We’re excited to welcome the community for a night of incredible local music.”
Proceeds will benefit Easterseals Hawaii services from keiki to kupuna across the state.
Tickets start at $40 (plus taxes and fees) and are available through the Hawaii Theatre Box Office website, by phone at (808) 528-0506, or in person.
