Best NBA player prop bets for Sunday 4/12/26

Alex Hunter shares his three favorite player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Sunday’s 15-game NBA slate.

For Sunday’s regular season finale, there are 15 games on the schedule with every NBA team in action. Let’s take a look at three of my favorite player prop bets for Sunday’s slate on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Top NBA player prop bets

Aaron Wiggins 3+ Assists (-140)

The Thunder will be down to eight healthy players tonight vs. the Suns, as their whole playoff rotation has been ruled out, except Lu Dort. Wiggins should start and he is going against a Phoenix team that also has nothing at stake. The Suns have ruled out many key players as well and Wiggins finishing with at least three assists as one of Oklahoma City’s featured players is likely.

In his last four starts, Wiggins has produced six, four, three and three assists. The wing has played three games with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren inactive this season, and Wiggins is averaging 5.0 assists per game on those occasions.

LeBron James 10+ Assists (-126)

James (foot) is questionable, but he should suit up tonight vs. the Jazz. The Lakers clinch the No.3 seed tonight if they win and the Nuggets lose, which is possible, as Denver is a 10.5-point road underdog vs. the Spurs on DraftKings Sportsbook. Luka Doncic (groin) and Austin Reaves (oblique) both remain out, and with these two sidelined for the last three, James has finished with 15, 11 and 12 assists.

With Doncic and Reaves off the floor this season, James’ assist rate increases 17.4 percentage points to a mammoth 50.7% and he is averaging 10.4 assists per 36 minutes. With a soft Jazz defense on the other side, that ranks 29th in rating this season, James is a stellar bet to reach double-digit assists.

Tre Jones 20+ Points (-151)

Jones is a lock to reach 20 points tonight vs. the Mavericks. The guard has scored 29, 20, 31 and 23 points in his last four, which is a product of Josh Giddey (hamstring) being out. Giddey will remain sidelined tonight and Matas Buzelis (ankle) will also be inactive.

These two have been the Bulls’ top options in the second half of the season and with them off the floor since the All-Star break, Jones is handling a 25% usage rate. Dallas ranks fifth in pace and 24th in defensive rating since the All-Star break, and Jones should end the season with a strong scoring performance in this spot.
