It’s that time of year again, Black Friday! Where we’re all encouraged to spend, spend, and SPEND SOME MORE. I’m not here to do that, though.
This article is entirely designed to help you find deals for Xbox accessories you were likely planning to purchase anyway. There’s no knock-off Temu junk here. These are all Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S compatible products that I’ve personally tested and personally endorsed. I’m so confident in them that I’ll also pledge tech support should you have any issues in the comments below.
What are my absolute top Xbox accessory recommendations?
A lot of my favorite Xbox accessories ironically aren’t really on sale (at least not yet). The most essential ones are obviously the Seagate Xbox Series X|S Storage Expansion card, particularly if you don’t have the 2TB Xbox Series X|S models. The Xbox Seagate Storage Card 4TB model being on sale nets you the biggest saving here, which is nice if you want to store a mammoth amount of games.
Indeed, the Xbox consoles themselves aren’t on sale for Black Friday either, since Microsoft doesn’t really sit on stock these days. Microsoft essentially makes Xbox Series X|S consoles to order, and all floating investment is going towards things like Xbox Cloud Gaming and the next-gen Xbox console.
I’d love to be pointing you at the Xbox Ally or Logitech G Cloud, or even the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 — alas, none of these are on sale for Black Friday, although that could change as we get closer to Black Friday proper or even Cyber Monday.

Headsets are usually a good shout for Black Friday. The best up there are the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 (Gen 3) (for most use-case scenarios), and the SteelSeries Arctis Gamebuds (if you want to throw in lifestyle daily use too).
If you’re a content creator or play across multiple devices at a desk, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro is a great option too, giving you a desktop DAC with instant controls and simultaneous connectivity. The Gamebuds are far more comfortable than standard offerings from Apple and Samsung both, and offer comparable audio while being simultaneously cheaper. I really think SteelSeries should double down on that form factor, because they’re honestly one of the best earbud sets I’ve used and it’s almost like they made it on a whim.
The Gamebuds come with a USB-C dongle for PC or Xbox Series X|S connectivity (with an included USB-A adapter). They also support Bluetooth for mobile device connectivity. You can’t mix two signals simultaneously sadly, but swapping between your Xbox at home and smartphone when commuting is a good shout. The mic array isn’t bad either for basic comms. At this price, they’re all the more impressive, too.
While stuff like the IVANKY dock is pretty niche and only relevant if you actually have an Xbox Ally handheld, one accessory I would recommend to anyone is the GameSir T7 or G7 controller. The G7 is a bit more expensive, but all you get really is back buttons which are only really necessary if you want to get particularly competitive in games like Overwatch.
The T7 and G7 are both wired controllers, but they beat the official Xbox controller in a variety of key ways. The long included braided cable is hard-wearing, and eliminates added cost of maintaining batteries. Even the official Xbox battery packs die pretty quick, and I’m loathe to recommend third-party rechargeable batteries since they have a tendency to, well, explode at times. The Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 is by far and away the best controller you can get on Xbox, even with its wear and tear issues — but the G7 and T7 eliminates the need for an expensive high-quality battery this way.
They also have full Hall Effect magnetic sticks, which eliminates the drift that appears on regular Xbox controllers as materials age and warp. I use the G7 primarily when testing handhelds and with my IVANKY dock with my Xbox Ally, so I don’t have to bother fiddling around with Bluetooth connectivity and the like.

There’s no real definitive answer to this, as deals typically revolve around availability and manufacturer planning. Sometimes we’ve seen “flash” deals appear and sell out almost immediately on Black Friday as well as Cyber Monday.
