Both the Canes and Buckeyes are stout defensively, so this will likely come down to the performances of quarterbacks Carson Beck and Julian Sayin. The Buckeyes are 9.5-point favorites in the latest SportsLine consensus odds, but the model likes Miami, which covers in 51% of simulations.
We have a rematch of the NBA Cup final to close out the year as the New York Knicks battle the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks won the NBA Cup behind OG Anunoby’s 28 points and Jalen Brunson’s 25. Both Anunoby and Brunson are in for this contest, but Josh Hart and Mitchell Robinson are out for New York. The Spurs were on a five-game winning streak, including back-to-back wins over the Thunder, but have lost their last two games. They’ll be without Devin Vassell in this one, and second-year guard Stephon Castle is considered questionable.
