Summary
- Spoiler alert! Emily closes Season 5 by parting ways with Marcello, witnessing Mindy and Nico’s engagement, and receiving a heartfelt postcard from Gabriel – all the way from Greek waters.
- No questions asked, we’re certain Season 6 will feature Greek hotspots (hint: Athens!), and these are the places we feel she’ll visit!
Having devoured all 10 episodes of Emily In Paris Season 5, fans (us included) have a hunch that Emily will say oui to Greece in the next season. And why not – with her French on again-off again ex Gabriel (essayed by Lucas Bravo) penning a heartfelt postcard, inviting her to visit him in Greece in the finale episode, we can’t help but ship the series’ OG duo. If it were upon us, we’d say Emily and Gabriel’s potential relation(ship) is headed to Athens. Hear us out – Greece’s largest cruise ship port, Port of Piraeus, is located just southwest of Athens, making it the ideal getaway for Gabriel – who’s been granted some downtime from the luxury yacht’s galley – and Emily to revisit their bond.
Here’s what we feel will be on Emily and Gabriel’s Athens itinerary!

Emily In Paris: Reimagined for Greece in Season 6
A French feast at Spondi

Chances are rife that Emily and her French beau (are we calling him that still?) head to Spondi, a two Michelin-starred restaurant, continuously awarded since 2002. With an extensive wine list, organic options, and focus on modern French cuisine, the diner seems just about perfect for the duo to revisit their Parisian romance, one magnifique course at a time. And let’s be honest, Spondi’s crystal chandeliers, gilded accents, Christofle trolleys, and diamond tufted sofas totally belong on Emily’s Instagram feed.
Glamour meets gourmet in Kolonaki

We’re convinced that Emily will be visiting (and revisiting) the chic Kolonaki neighbourhood, located at the foot of Lycabettus Hill. From cappuccino and croissant runs at time-honoured cafes to designer boutiques and inspiring art galleries – this area is totally Emily-coded! Beyond global brands like Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Gucci, the cultural hub also houses renowned Greek boutiques like Zolotas & Lalaounis and Yuna Boutique.
Kolonaki’s Museum of the History of the Greek Costume and Gennadius Library are worth exploring too.
Bag tickets to the EJEKT Rock Festival
After travelling with Emily vicariously for five seasons, we know that cultural immersion reigns supreme. Enter EJEKT Rock Festival 2026 – among the biggest Greek music festivals known for its international rock/alternative acts. The 2026 rendition of this annual festival will be headlined by ‘Florence + The Machine’ (July 14) and ‘The Cure’ (July 15), and will take place at the Plateia Nerou (Faliro waterfront).

Take a funicular to Mount Lycabettus

Emily and Gabriel are sure to hitch a funicular ride from Kolonaki to Mount Lycabettus (Athens’ highest hill at 277 m), offering scene-stealing views of the Acropolis and Aegean Sea. The entire journey takes about three minutes, and transports roughly 3,00,000 passengers annually.
T+L Tip
Don’t miss visiting the iconic whitewashed St. George Church (Agios Georgios) at the summit.
A guided exploration through the Acropolis

After Parisian vineyards and Roman ruins, a guided tour of the Acropolis seems like the next port of call. We can totally picture the duo exploring the surreal Parthenon, the Erechtheion (including the Caryatids), the grand entrance called ‘the Propylaea’, and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus with a licensed archaeologist/historian, on a bespoke tour. They might even check into indulgent properties like King George, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Athens and Hotel Grande Bretagne, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Athens, that face the striking Acropolis.
Take over the seas with a luxurious yacht trip

Now that Gabriel is a private chef for a billionaire on board a swanky yacht, it only makes sense for him to introduce Emily to the fenders and flavours of life at sea. We 10/10 recommend a Greek holiday unfolding across Mykonos, Santorini, and Paros for nightlife and caldera wonders. Popular yacht rental companies include Click&Boat, Viravira, IYC Yachts, and Istion Yachting.
Saunter through the Greek Carnival 2026

What better than the Greek Carnival 2026, running from mid-February to March 2, to add a dash of colour, culture, and bang-on photo ops to Emily’s itinerary? Also called the Apokries, the carnival promises street parties in Plaka and Psiri, vibrant parades (Moschato is unmissable), and costume parties at crowd-favourite bars.
