The editorial pairs imagery with a conversation led by CR Fashion Book Editorial Director Paloma Clément-Picos. The discussion focuses on Rosé’s perspective on identity, confidence, and creative development, shaped by both her personal life and professional trajectory. The feature connects directly to her album Rosie, released in December 2024, which she describes as deeply personal and rooted in an emotional process.

In the interview, Rosé reflects on how her sense of self has shifted over time. She explains that she feels more comfortable than she did in her early twenties, while also acknowledging that this process remains ongoing. At 29, she recognizes progress without presenting it as complete. Her perspective reflects a continuous effort to understand herself, where growth develops through experience and time.

Clément-Picos introduces a reference to French author Jean d’Ormesson, whose words frame a broader reflection on life. The idea of embracing both positive and difficult experiences aligns with Rosé’s own reflections. In response, Rosé expands on how confidence develops through daily effort. She describes it as something she continues to work on, shaped by constant change and new challenges. She also notes that she has begun to understand how her mind works, learning small methods that help her navigate this process.

The conversation also addresses the upcoming ten-year mark of BLACKPINK in 2026. Rosé speaks with awareness of this moment, describing a shift in how she perceives time within her career. She acknowledges the group’s achievements alongside the challenges they have faced, expressing pride in the experience accumulated over the decade.
Rosé also discusses the balance between her professional and personal life. She explains that she once focused primarily on her work as a performer, while overlooking other aspects of herself. Over time, she has come to recognize the importance of maintaining that balance, understanding that each part of her life requires attention. This awareness continues to shape how she approaches her career and personal development.

When asked about what she values most in her own work, Rosé identifies her work ethic. She describes it as something that feels natural, yet remains central to everything she does. It drives her ability to take on multiple responsibilities while maintaining a sense of enjoyment in her work.
