Blockade by Greek Farmers Will Disrupt Border Traffic with Greece

Because of strike actions and a blockade by Greek farmers, there will be difficulties for both passenger cars and heavy goods vehicles when crossing all border crossings in both directions along the border with Greece, the Border Police said on its website. The information is as of 6 am on Friday.

Traffic at the borders with Turkiye, North Macedonia, and Serbia is normal at all checkpoints. Traffic is also normal at the border crossings with Romania.

The protesting Greek farmers will hold a national meeting on Sunday (January 4) to decide on their next actions.
