Alex Hunter details his best NBA player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Wednesday’s game between the Bucks and Wizards.
The Bucks are hosting the Wizards on Wednesday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, Milwaukee is favored by 10.5 points and this contest carries a total of 234.5 points.
Below, I dive into three of my favorite player prop bets for Wednesday’s matchup between the Bucks and the Wizards on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best Bucks vs. Wizards Player Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Kevin Porter Jr. U 25.5 Points + Assists (-110)
While this is a great matchup vs. the Wizards, who rank dead last in defensive rating, backing Porter Jr. for this under makes sense with Giannis Antetokounmpo healthy again for the Bucks.
In the six games Porter Jr. and Antetokonmpo have played together this season, Porter Jr. is averaging 17.7 points and 6.6 assists per game. When sharing the floor with Antetokounmpo this season, Porter Jr.’s usage and assist rates drop 6.6 and 8.9 percentage points, respectively. On top of the decreased role playing alongside Antetokounmpo, there is a chance of a blowout tonight with the Bucks being 10.5-point home favorites, which would certainly limit Porter Jr.’s minutes.
Khris Middleton O 18.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-109)
The Bucks are Middleton’s former team and the revenge factor has been real for the veteran this season. In his two matchups with Milwaukee, Middleton has posted 23 points, six rebounds and three assists, and then 15 points, six assists and four rebounds.
Middleton is only going to see 20-25 minutes of work, but his usage should be elevated with Kyshawn George (hip) and Cam Whitmore (shoulder) both sidelined. Middleton handles an 18.8% usage rate and a 21.2% assist rate with George and Whitmore off the floor this season, and Middleton should be able to clear 18.5 PRA vs. this Bucks’ defense that ranks 17th in rating this season.
Ryan Rollins U 5.5 Assists (-140)
Just like Porter Jr., Rollins’ role is severely affected by Antetokounmpo’s presence and Rollins falling short of 5.5 assists tonight is likely. In the 19 games Rollins and Antetokounmpo have played together this season, Rollins is averaging right under his prop line for tonight with 5.2 assists per game.
When sharing the floor with Antetokounmpo this season, Rollins’ assist rate decreases 6.9 percentage points to 20% and he is averaging just 5.8 assist per 36 minutes.
