The Los Angeles Lakers continue to play solid basketball. Over the last month, they have been one of the hottest teams in the league. They have won 14 of their last 16 games, which has allowed them to move up to third in the Western Conference standings.
Recently, LA went to Indiana to take on the Pacers. During that game, WNBA star Caitlin Clark attended and was taking photos. She was a credentialed photographer for that game and took some really cool photos. She took a lot of those photos of LeBron James.
Clark clearly enjoyed her experience taking photos for that game and viewing James up close. She talked about her experience and could not stop praising James.

While speaking on NBC, Clark talked about how much she enjoyed her time taking photos during that game, especially of James.
“My pictures of LeBron I took, did you guys see them? I need to print it out and get him to sign it for me. That’s my GOAT. I swear we made eye contact, so I sat down the camera, and I smiled at him, and he just looked at me with a straight face. He didn’t even see me, but the photo turned out well. New hobby. I love it.”
Clark loved getting to see James that close for a game. He certainly respects what Clark has been able to do in her basketball career. While Clark was injured for most of last season, she is a transcendent talent. That is something James is familiar with.
The Lakers won that game against the Pacers and continue to steamroll towards the playoffs. They sit third in the Western Conference standings at the moment. They are focused on keeping a spot in the top four so that they are able to have home-court advantage for the first round.
LeBron James has Accepted his New Role With Los Angeles
James has started playing a new role over the last few weeks. It is the first time that he has had to play a role that isn’t focused around him being a ball-dominant superstar. Now that the entire team is healthy, he is focused on being the guy who takes the second or third-most shots on the team.
In the last 15 games, the Lakers have the sixth-best offense in the league. It’s clear that getting James and Austin Reaves healthy has really helped them show what their ceiling can be when they have a fully formed team. Health has been their biggest issue all year.
LA only has a one-game lead over the Nuggets for that third spot in the West. This is likely the last time that James will have a realistic shot to win a title while playing for the Lakers, so he is trying his best to make it count. They will need some luck to help to make the Finals.
The Lakers are led by Luka Doncic, but James still controls how far this team will go in the postseason.
