Capcom’s astronaut and small girl-starring Pragmata gets yet another new release date

Pragmata – the long-in-the-works sci-fi game from Capcom – has a new release date. This time though, it isn’t delayed.

Instead, Capcom has moved the release forward a notch, and Pragmata will now make its debut on 17th April, a week earlier than was most recently scheduled.

To accompany this new release date, Capcom shared a new trailer for Pragmata, which gives us a look at some previously unseen areas and the enemies we will come across in the game’s 3D-printed lunar research station. You can check it out below.

If you are still unsure what Pragmata is actually about, it’s Capcom’s all-new sci-fi action adventure which comes with a “unique hacking twist”. The game’s two protagonists are Hugh and Diana, who while at first glance may seem to be just a young, bright-eyed girl, is in fact an android. The duo must work together to survive, with each bringing their own different skills to the table.

“The result is a fascinating mix that was only better in its more difficult and more thought-provoking proper hands-on than it was in the two previous proof-of-concept style demos,” Alex Donaldson wrote in Eurogamer’s Pragmata preview.

Pragmata was once planned for a 2022 release, having been originally revealed in 2020. It is slated to release across PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. If you are keen for more before then, though, there is currently a demo for Pragmata available on Steam.
