It’s a funny insight when you’re working on a car commercial, that cars in horror films always seem to have looming ignition failure. Marketsquare in Denmark took notice of this idea and sold “Toyota Relax”, with zombies, vampires and even a classic Texas Chainsaw massacre guy ready to kill but with a twist – a car that starts. Effective and a funny way to sell that Toyota will keep your car running smoothly.
Thing is though, I already saw a variant on this idea nearly twenty years ago for Volkswagen.
Ok, fine, so they’re not identical – they tackle the insight slightly differently. Both are funny. Here’s the Toyota “Zombie” one as well.
My favorite from Toyota is the vampire one, those inside car lights are so freaking bright, aren’t they?
