The American Gaming Association (AGA) has reported commercial gross gaming revenue (GGR) for 2025 of US$78.72bn, a year-on-year increase of 9.2 per cent.

This makes 2025 the sixth consecutive year of record gaming revenue.
$50.94bn of that came from traditional GGR – an increase of 2.3 per cent, which made it the highest grossing year on record for commercial brick-and-mortar gaming.
Sports betting GGR grew up 22.8 per cent to $16.69bn, and igaming GGR grew 27.6 per cent to reach $10.74bn.
Q4 25 is also the strongest Q4 on record, with commercial gaming revenue expanding over all three major verticals to reach $21.3bn, an increase of 13.8 per cent on 2024.
Growth in gaming revenue was recorded by every single one of the US’ 38 commercial gaming states except for Mississippi which was on par with 2024.
