Greece Police: Three found asleep in banged-up stolen car in Walmart parking lot

GREECE, N.Y. — Greece Police Tuesday arrested three men they say they found asleep inside a stolen car that apparently had been significantly damaged in a crash.Police responded to the Walmart on Dewey Avenue at about 3:04 p.m. after a caller reported a vehicle in the parking lot with significant front-end damage, Officers confirmed that the 2005 Buick Rainier had been reported stolen from the City of Rochester.The three people in the car gave conflicting statements about ownership and what they had been up to.All three — Evan Clark, 42, of Rochester; Shane Drew, 40, of Rochester; and Tyrone Stewart, 55, of Lyons — were charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Greece’s inflation rises to 2% in October

Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) figures showed on Monday that the national consumer price index rose 2% in October, just up on the rate recorded the previous month – i.e. 1.9%. On a monthly basis inflation grew 0.1% from September, while in the November 2024 – October 2025 period the consumer price index expanded 2.5%, down from 2.9% in the 12 months before. Source link
