During Crew-12’s eight-month long mission aboard the International Space Station, the crew will conduct a variety of science experiments aimed at advancing research and technology for missions to the Moon and Mars, and to benefit humanity on Earth. The crew will study how pneumonia-causing bacteria can lead to long-term heart damage, research on how physical characteristics may affect blood flow during spaceflight, and improve on-demand IV (intravenous) fluid generation. Now, there were many things I was expecting to turn up at this evening's PlayStation State of Play. A Resident Evil Requiem demo, for example (I am not annoyed we don't have one yet, you are). One thing that wasn't on my bingo card, though, was a John Wick game. But, that's exactly what we got. The upcoming John Wick game is a collaboration between Saber, Lionsgate, and franchise director Chad Stahelsk. As artificial intelligence powered prosthetic arms become more common, understanding how people respond to them will be essential. Acceptance depends not only on how well these devices function, but also on how natural they feel. In this study, researchers used virtual reality to create the illusion that a participant's own arm had been replaced with a robotic prosthetic. They then tested how different movement speeds influenced embodiment, including body ownership, sense of agency, usability, and social impressions such as competence and discomfort. Scientists at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) have reported a major advance in calcium-ion battery (CIB) research that could reshape how energy is stored and used in daily life. By incorporating quasi-solid-state electrolytes (QSSEs), the team developed a new type of CIB designed to improve both performance and sustainability. Well, that was fast. Just a day after Samsung finally decided to give us the date for its big Samsung Galaxy S26 series unveiling, the entire lineup leaked online. Yes, the Galaxy Unpacked event is set for Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. PT (9 a.m. ET). And thanks to leaker Evan Blass, we just got an early glimpse of what the phones will look like. Well, it's more than a glimpse: Blass actually obtained official-looking photos of the entire lineup. Don't get too excited, though; the phones look very similar to how they did last year.
