Celebrities at the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards 2026

Here is a roundup of the notable looks from those who joined Olandria Carthen and Yara Shahidi at the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards 2026, held in LA this week.

A Colour Redemption Arc

Jodie Turner-Smith wore a Tory Burch Fall 2026 toga-inspired dress in orange, and while the green version didn’t land for me on Eiza González last month, this feels like a complete turnaround. Whether it’s the richer hue, her poise, or the way the draping sits on her frame, this reads far more flattering and far less bulky. Christian Louboutin Millenium sandals completed her look.

Fringe With Purpose

Alison Brie clearly embraced the playful side of her Monse Fall 2026 gold patchwork grid strapless dress, with that fringed hemline bringing energy to every step. It’s a look that invites interaction, and she leaned into it. Alder Fine Jewellery completed her look.

A Shift For The Brand

Camila Mendes’ Johanna Ortiz dress goes against the brand’s usual codes. The darker palette and subtle embellishment shift it away from its typical resort feel and into something more evening-appropriate. I appreciate this pivot.

Not Quite Landing

Is it just me, or does this Balenciaga Spring 2026 look feel slightly off on Chrissy Teigen? The proportions aren’t quite working, and while the colour story is strong, the decision to add a black clutch is baffling.

Goddess Energy

Coco Jones delivered a goddess-like moment in this pink Cult Gaia cut-out dress. The sculpted bodice and fluid lines work beautifully on her.

A Miscast Moment

Of all the people to wear this Ferrari Fall 2026 turtleneck and draped satin skirt, Dove Cameron wouldn’t have been my first guess. The look itself feels flat, and the colour doesn’t do her any favours. A puzzling choice.

Familiar Territory

Host Ego Nwodim wore a Monse Pre-Fall 2026 corseted look which feels familiar. The silhouette immediately calls to mind David Koma, and it’s hard not to make that comparison. Natural yellow Desert diamond jewelry from Grandview Klein completed her look.

Bright White

Kelsea Ballerini wore a David Koma Spring 2026 halter dress that reads soft and romantic at first glance, but that V-shaped detail under the waistline feels distracting, but I guess is better than seeing her underwear.

The Wrong Wearer

I’m not convinced by this Blumarine Fall 2026 gothic-inspired two-piece on Lili Reinhart. The look calls for a sharper attitude. On someone like Milena Smit, Rooney Mara, Mia Goth, Lady Gaga, Jenna Ortega, Dove Cameron, Rosalía or Gabbriette, this would hit much harder, because the design itself is strong. Mejuri drop studs completed her look.

Classic Saint Laurent

Saint Laurent leans back into its lingerie-inspired codes, as seen on Maika Monroe in this lace-accented green silk gown. The mood is right, the styling was almost there as I’m just not sold on the black pumps.

Textured Simplicity

Mindy Kaling wore a Simkhai strapless blue gown that leans into texture adding just enough interest into this column silhouette, elevating it beyond safe territory.

Familiar, To A Fault

Olivia Wilde’s ASHLYN look feels like something we’ve seen from her many times before. The cropped top and voluminous skirt combination is firmly in her comfort zone, but at this point, the repetition is hard to ignore.

Trying To Decode It

Pamela Anderson’s Tory Burch look continues her unpredictable style streak. The soft tailoring and muted print feel intentionally understated, but the overall effect lands somewhere between retro daywear and chic librarian.

Two Ideas, One Dress

Ryan Destiny wore a Phan Huy Spring 2026 gown that feels visually split. The red draped base is striking and confident, but the gold waistband cuts through it in a way that feels abrupt rather than integrated. Her look was completed with gold Stuart Weitzman sandals.

Not Quite Coming Together

I’m usually on board with Sharon Stone’s style choices, but this Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2026 look doesn’t fully land. The proportions feel slightly off, and the mix of tailoring and stripes doesn’t quite align.

Swallowed By Volume

Uzo Aduba’s Tony Ward gown is a tricky one. The dramatic shoulder detail and sculpted cut-out should create impact, but on her frame, it overwhelms rather than enhances her presence.
