Celebrities at ‘The Housemaid’ New York Screening

The New York screening of The Housemaid brought together Sydney Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, and Brandon Sklenar on Tuesday evening.

Hollywood Premiere Barbie

Sydney Sweeney arrived in a shimmering silver Miu Miu dress. Yes, we’ve seen this silhouette from her (and from the brand) more than once, but after her Christy press tour detour into lingerie-coded dressing, I’m happy for her return to high-octane glamour. The snatched waist, the soft 1950s curls, the showgirl sparkle, and that feathered stole — it’s all very “Holiday Spectacular meets Old Hollywood screen siren.” But my first thought was that she looks like Barbie, so imagine my surprise when I typed Hollywood Premiere Barbie into Google and I saw this. Messika Jewelry completed her look.

Soft Glamour, Served Cool

Amanda Seyfried wore a soft powder-pink satin Versace gown by Dario Vitale. It’s elegant, but I think she could have removed one of those Tiffany & Co. necklaces. What’s interesting is how rarely we’ve seen these custom Versace looks since the creative shift — and how Elizabeth Stewart seems to have secured more of them than any other stylist.

Rugged, But Refined

Brandon Sklenar wore a Giuliva Heritage look that played beautifully into his rugged charm. I love how the suede coat added a vintage, lived-in attitude, and the tailored trousers kept things from veering too casual. The Tag Heuer watch and David Yurman jewellery added the finishing touches. It’s polished in the right ways, relaxed where it counts — the kind of outfit that looks intentionally effortless rather than thrown together.
