In contrast, their domestic form has been strong, with the team currently unbeaten in six league games, taking five wins and one draw over that run.
They sit third in the Premiership on 54 points from 26 matches (17 wins, 3 draws, 6 defeats), six points adrift of leaders Hearts but with two games in hand that could yet close the gap.
Celtic team news
Martin O’Neill’s side will again have to manage without several important squad members because of injury. Defenders Alistair Johnston and Cameron Carter-Vickers, along with Arne Engels, Callum Osmand and Jota, are all still out and unavailable for selection.
