PERRY, Ga (WGXA) — The City of Perry has received a clean audit for the fifth consecutive year.
Marking the fifth year in a row, the city’s finances have earned the highest level of assurance from independent auditors. The City of Perry said it reflects “the City’s continued commitment to strong financial management and accountability.”
Auditors issued an unmodified opinion on the city’s financial statements, indicating they are fairly presented and comply with generally accepted accounting standards. That designation is the most favorable outcome a municipality can receive.
