The previously revealed expansion to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available right now, as announced at tonight’s The Game Awards.
Developer Sandfall Interactive told Eurogamer back in October the update would include “a bit of whee, and a bit of whoo”, hinting at a focus on lovable sidekick Esquie.
The expansion’s availability was announced by director Guillaume Broche as Expedition 33 won Game of the Year.
As you can see from the trailer above, it’s quite the colourful update, shared as a Thank You to fans of the game. And there’s a photo mode too!
Before tonight’s ceremony, Expedition 33 had already made The Game Awards history by becoming the most nominated game in its history – it received 12 nominations this year.
One of those nominations was Charlie Cox as Best Performance, but he claimed mocap actor Maxence Cazorla deserved the credit instead.
