Colman Domingo put his considerable fashion bona fides into a sketch on last night’s Saturday Night Live about FIT students trying to describe the perpetrator of an armed robbery. Marcello Hernández, Chloe Fineman, and Jane Wickline play his students (although Wickline should really “go to a normal college,” as Domingo says) and Mikey Day is the dean. Or maybe the librarian, since all he does is waltz in, read the suspect, and waltz out. By the end of the sketch, we know very little about what this gunman looked like (“The colors were a statement, and that statement was, ‘Mama raised a dumbass.’”), and less about what a FIT degree is even for.
