The Greater San Antonio Community Bands Association will hold its 5th annual Community Band Music Festival on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 10 am to 9 pm. The GSACBA is composed of 11 community bands in the San Antonio area and more than 500 musicians will perform throughout the day. They have all teamed up to present some amazing wind band music for the public. The oldest German Band outside of Germany will perform along with the award winning Heart of Texas Concert Band.
We have partnered with the Beethoven Maennerchor to present this festival in their outdoor Biergarten in the King William district. (422 Pereida St, SATX 78207)
Our festival matters because our bands build strong bonds in their communities, they connect generations, strengthen the minds of those performing and listening, preserve cultures, traditions and bring joy to thousands of people. This festival highlights the effectiveness of our community bands in a way that brings people together and gives them a place to belong.
Music is more than sound. It’s how a community hears itself.
