Conference Held in Greece to Support Resistance Axis Against US-Zionist Imperialism
The conference, which was attended by 150 political, academic, journalistic, and media figures from Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, and Yemen, as well as representatives from the anti-imperialist movement in NATO countries, and supported by anti-imperialist organizations and associations, discussed the current situation in West Asia and the common struggle of free peoples against US-Zionist imperialism.
The conference was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Yemeni News Agency “Saba” – Editor-in-Chief – Deputy Head of the Ansar Allah Media Authority, Nasr al-Din Amer, Constantina Kartsiouti from the Anti-Imperialist Front, Dr. Ali al-Hajj Hassan, the official in charge of educational mobilization in Hezbollah from Lebanon, the Secretary-General of the Youth Organization of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a speaker from the Palestinian camps in Lebanon, Professor and writer Vassilis Leousis, and Evangelos Venitis, an academic specializing in Iranian and West Asian studies.
Participants at the conference discussed International Quds Day, a day of resistance by the peoples of the region against American imperialism and Zionism, they noted that International Quds Day was a momentous event that united the voices of resistance forces from Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, and Yemen with the anti-imperialist movement within NATO countries.
The speakers provided explanations of the current situation in West Asia and the shared struggle of the peoples against American imperialism and Zionism.
Nasr al-Din Amer, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Editor-in-Chief of the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) and Deputy Head of the Ansar Allah Media Authority, explained that the Yemeni people commemorate International Quds Day on the last Friday of Ramadan in loyalty to the Palestinian cause and in support of Al-Quds.
He emphasized the importance of further activating the role of resistance in the region during the current phase, especially given the targeting of the nation by global powers of arrogance—America and Israel—and their agents and proxies in the region.
