Crvena Zvezda players have returned from their winter break and resumed training. On January 4, the team will travel to Turkey for a training camp, where they will prepare until January 15. The main focus of the preparations will be on the upcoming Europa League matches.
The Serbian champions will play their first official match of the new year on January 22, when Crvena Zvezda face Swedish side Malmö away from home. The final match of the league phase will take place on January 29 in Belgrade, where the Serbian club will host Spain’s Celta.
After six rounds, Crvena Zvezda sit 17th in the Europa League standings and retain realistic chances of reaching the playoffs. The upcoming matches will be crucial in the fight to continue their European campaign.
Armenia national team defender Nair Tiknizyan has also resumed training with the team.
