Personally, I’ve never found Joy-Cons super comfortable when gaming for long hours, which is why this mobile controller is perfect. The GameSir G8 Plus is currently down to just $79 at Amazon, and it’s fantastic for the Switch 2. It pairs with the Switch 2 via Bluetooth, and it nestles the console well.

I gave it 4.5-stars in my review and commended it for its performance and design. Its Hall Effect thumbsticks and triggers are responsive, and the controller’s ergonomic design ensures all-day comfort. It also comes with a user-friendly companion app for personalization.

The crossover no one expected! If you own a PS5 DualSense controller and a Nintendo Switch or Switch 2, and you fancy using your PS5 controller with your Nintendo console, there’s an easy way to do so. All you need is both of those things as well as an 8BitDo Wireless Adapter.

It’s a walk in the park from there, as all you need to do is plug the adapter into the Switch’s or Switch 2’s dock, pair it with your DualSense, and voila! You can find out all the steps in detail in this tutorial here.

This is the purr-fect game for cat lovers and gamers alike

Whether you love cats or enjoy a good, dystopian game, Stray is the purr-fect game for nearly everyone. I’ve played the game on the OG Switch, the PS4 and the PS5, and I’ve enjoyed it every time (it’s made me cry a few times too!). While the chance to play as an adorable kitty is appealing, the real star of the show is the game’s richly-detailed cyberpunk world.

Cyber Monday has knocked 30% off of Stray’s retail price, so you can buy it for just $28 at Amazon.

One for NFL fans

Is Nintendo Switch 2’s first new Zelda game worth it?

Although not on sale as it only just came out, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a fantastic game that you should keep your eye on, should it get discounted. Our Senior Entertainment Editor, Rory, noted that it was “one of [his] biggest gaming surprises in 2025.”

The latest installment in the Hyrule Warriors series sees Princess Zelda throw back thousands of years into Hyrule’s past. Joining the rulers of the time in the Imprisoning War against the might Demon King Ganondorf. With multiple playable characters and the Warriors’ trademark large-scale battles, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment is a thrilling spin-off that tells an untold canon Zelda tale.

Nothing beats gaming on a big-screen TV. Well, perhaps gaming on a big-screen OLED TV! That’s exactly what you get with this deal. This TV features a gorgeous 4K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, four HDMI inputs, and AMD FreeSync Premium, all of which make it an excellent TV for everyone, but especially for gamers.

This Sonic karting game makes Mario Kart look like child’s play

I awarded Sonic Racing CrossWorlds 4 stars when I reviewed it, and I noted that “its seriously chaotic nature leaves you itching for more.” Packed with chaos, fun and presenting a bit of a learning curve, CrossWorlds wins big when it comes to smooth drifting and air tricks that give you significant boosts.

Extensive kart and ‘Gadget Plate’ customization enable you to strategize in different ways and fine-tune your style. CrossWorlds makes a big splash as a multi-platform karting game, and it’s my favorite karting game of the year. Today, you can get it for $39 at Amazon.

Explore and defend the beautiful kingdom of Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is my favorite one-player game on the Switch. It earned a 4.5-star rating in our review, and rightfully so. It lives up to the franchise’s pedigree, and then some. It’s a remarkably confident sequel that refines and remixes elements of Breath of the Wild in delightfully surprising ways.

While the aging OG Switch hardware can’t always keep pace, it runs well on the Switch 2. Tears of the Kingdom provides a masterful experience that is essential for all Nintendo fans. Right now, you can get the game for $51 at Walmart.

The latest entry in the annual NBA 2K series is once again the most polished and authentic way to play basketball from the comfort of your couch. NBA 2K26 includes the series’ standard suite of online and offline modes, including MyTEAM and MyGM.

The Switch 2 version isn’t as graphically impressive as on other consoles, but it does offer portable play, which is a pretty big advantage!

A deal so good, you’d think it’s from a galaxy far, far away

Star Wars Outlaws is a “quintessential outing in a galaxy far, far away,” as we noted in our review where we gave this game 4-stars. It delivers a true Star Wars experience, featuring four total worlds teeming with expansive maps and various side quests for hours of unending fun. Space-based combat and general gunplay are solid with rare moments of stealth that can frustrate at times.

Right now, Star Wars Outlaws is available for just $30 at Amazon, which makes it easy to digest some technical issues.

Here’s why the Switch 2 is a great travel companion

As a handheld console, the Nintendo Switch 2 is a fantastic travel companion. Our Senior Entertainment Editor, Rory, took it on a trip and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He noted that the larger size was perfect for his hands, and the tabletop mode thanks to the built-in, sturdy kickstand is a novel option. Also, the launch library is solid as are the upgraded versions of older Switch games, such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

If you want a great hybrid console that’s versatile and travel-friendly, the Switch 2 should be your port of call. And you’re in luck as just for one day, Walmart has knocked $50 off its Switch 2 Mario Kart Bundle, bringing the price down to $449.

The Cyclone 2 is fitted with TMR sticks and Hall Effect triggers that are highly responsive and customizable via user-friendly software. The ergonomic design makes the controller comfortable to use for long periods of time, too.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is another couch co-op game I love playing with my partner. It’s super colorful, easy to get a hang of, and lots of fun. We awarded it 4.5-stars in our review, and we noted that it “takes the best parts of past 2D Mario games and builds on them with new characters, gameplay mechanics and upgraded visuals.”

There’s something here for both fans of the series and newcomers alike, with local and online multiplayer to keep you coming back after you’ve finished the main story. You can get Super Mario Bros. Wonder for just $52 at Walmart this Cyber Monday.

This controller looks pretty, performs great, and it glows in the dark

A Mario-themed Turtle Beach Rematch Wireless gaming controller for Nintendo Switch 2 and other Switch consoles

The Turtle Beach Rematch Wireless is a great gamepad if you’re looking to use something other than Joy-Cons. In my review, I awarded it 4-stars. Featuring analog thumbsticks and triggers that are highly responsive and motion controls, not only does the Rematch Wireless make games feel more immersive, but it’s extremely comfortable, too. There are also two rear buttons that can be remapped on the fly.

As budget controllers go, the Rematch Wireless is a fantastic gamepad for the Nintendo Switch family. It comes in a few funky colors, but the glow-in-the-dark Super Mario theme is my top pick, and it’s currently 17% off at Amazon.

The perfect (and one of the most chaotic) couch co-op games for a night in

Overcooked

Hi there, and happy Cyber Monday! I’m Nikita, a Senior Reviews Writer, and I’m taking over from our Senior Entertainment Editor to bring you the best Switch 2 Cyber Monday deals. If you’re looking for a couch co-op game, Overcooked should already be in your shopping cart. Overcooked! All You Can Eat is down to just $28 at Amazon right now.

I play this game a lot with my non-gamer partner, and it’s one game we keep coming back to. The goal is simple: chop, dice, bake and cook every order that comes in to get a score out of three stars. But it’s not that easy, as kitchens can catch on fires, and things can go very wrong. It’s chaotic, out-of-control, and a whole lot of fun.

Mario Kart World bundle still in stock

As Cyber Monday arrives, Nintendo hasn’t put the Switch 2 itself on sale. But there is a way to save some money, via this Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle. This package includes the console and a digital copy of the popular game. The bundle costs you $499, but you’ll save $30 over buying the Switch 2 and the game by themselves.
