Daniella Vitale to Be Awarded the LIM Fashion Education Foundation’s 4th Annual Fashion Forward Award

The LIM Fashion Education Foundation will honor Daniella Vitale, chief executive officer, Americas, of Ferragamo, with the fourth annual Fashion Forward Award on April 22.

To be held at 3 Columbus Circle in New York, the luncheon will bring together leaders across fashion, retail and business to recognize leadership and raise scholarship funds for the next generation of industry professionals.

The Fashion Forward Award recognizes leaders who are shaping the future of fashion and business while investing in education and emerging talent. Past honorees include Sam Edelman, founder and creative director of Sam Edelman; Amanda Smith, chief executive officer of Fairchild Media Group; Todd Snyder, founder and president of Todd Snyder; Jennifer Foyle, president and executive creative director of American Eagle and Aerie, and Michelle Parsons, general manager of accessories at Gap Inc.

Vitale is one of LIM College‘s most accomplished and visible alumnae, and has supported LIM FEF for nearly a decade. In addition to her philanthropic contributions, she has created internship opportunities for LIM College students, providing industry experience and mentorship.

“I am grateful to be honored and to celebrate the impact these scholarships have on the next generation of talent. As a student eager to understand the business of fashion through a creative, integrated lens, LIM gave me that opportunity. I graduated with meaningful experience, relevant knowledge, and a competitive edge in the industry. Most importantly, I was able to focus on learning — not on how to pay for it. Not every student has that privilege.”

Arnie Cohen, LIM FEF board president said, “Daniella exemplifies the leadership, integrity and commitment to opportunity that define the Fashion Forward Award. Her dedication to education and mentorship has made a lasting impact on our students and our community.”
