Ascending rap rockstar DC THE DON continues to blur the lines between sound and style, making his New York Fashion Week debut as he fronts PUBLIC SERV-CE’s Fall/Winter 2026 runway show titled ‘DARK MATTER.’

On Saturday (Feb. 14), DC took center stage at the brand’s New York Fashion Week show, curated by Creative Director Raphael Young, who approached the season as a focused study in black, not as a mood but as method. Precision tailoring, controlled volume, and sculpted outerwear defined the collection, with garments engineered to absorb and refract light in ways that emphasized construction over embellishment.

The setting was restrained, allowing proportion, surface, and structure to carry the narrative. Stepping onto the runway in sculpted outerwear by Raphael himself, DC punctuated the look with a pair of retro-wired headphones. On a runway built for noise and flash, DC chose insulation instead, a quiet signal that something deeper is forming beneath the surface.

This all builds on the momentum of DC THE DON’s newest single, “Lie2Me,” released last month. The Billboard-praised track underscores a moment of expansion for the genre-bending artist. The release coincided with the announcement of DC inking a new deal with Republic Records and also doubles as the lead single from his upcoming project, the rumors are true, arriving Q1 2026.
