College of Science and Technology Dean Miguel Mostafá will step down May 31, he announced in a faculty town hall Wednesday.
Mostafá will serve as dean of the School of Science and Engineering at the University of Missouri-Kansas City effective June 1.
“Serving as Dean of the College of Science and Technology has been my greatest privilege,” Mostafá wrote in an email to The Temple News. “This decision was not an easy one because CST is such a vibrant and supportive community. I am deeply grateful to have worked alongside dedicated faculty, talented students and committed staff. I leave with great confidence in the college’s future.”
Mostafá came to CST in Fall 2023, after serving as associate dean for research and innovation at the Eberly College of Science at Penn State.
Details about the appointment of an interim dean will be forthcoming, Interim Provost David Boardman wrote in an email to CST faculty obtained by The Temple News.
