SALT LAKE CITY – Egor Demin’s Rising Stars Team defeated Ace Bailey and Team Melo roster in the Rising Stars Challenge championship game at All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.
The NBA announced Thursday that Bailey has been named an injury replacement for Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg, extending the Jazz’s streak of Rising Stars participants to four consecutive years.

Ace Bailey Shines In Semifinals Game One
Bailey played a critical role in Team Melo’s semifinal victory over Team Austin, scoring five points, grabbing three rebounds, and dishing out two assists in just eight minutes on the floor.
The rookie’s three rebounds led the team, while his stepback three provided a boost for Team Melo after an early scoring drought.

Team Melo defeated Team Austin 40-34, with Bailey’s college teammate Derek Harper hitting the game-winner over his brother Ron Harper Jr.
Sophomores Donovan Clingan and Reed Sheppard led Team Melo with nine points each.
Egor Demin Stars In Semifinals Game Two
Former BYU star Egor Demin played a key role in Team Vince’s win over Team T-Mac in the second semifinal game.
The guard recorded two points, two rebounds, and two assists, including a wide-open dunk to get the scoring started.

Team Vince defeated Team T-Mac 41-36 to advance to the Finals
Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe scored 17 points to lead all scorers in the game, including the final 10 points for Team Vince.
Rising Stars Final
Bailey went scoreless in the Rising Stars finale, missing his only shot from the floor in just four minutes on the court.
Demin recorded two points, two rebounds, and a block in the win for Team Vince.

Edgecombe again led the roster with six points, including the game-winning points at the free-throw line with a final score of 25-24.
