Jeans were a reliable foundation for designer accessories and ‘It’ pieces like Dior’s book cover knits and tees at Paris Fashion Week.
The bottoms were a key part of the fashion week attendees’ overall elevated casual style.
Cuffed selvedge jeans were styled with black loafers and a fur-collar coat. A pair of jeans with subtle shamrock embroidery was paired with a cropped leather jacket and veiled beret. Wide-leg denim trousers were worn with stiletto heels, a white button-down shirt and tartan vest.
Double denim with similar washes was a common uniform, especially for men. A classic trench, loafers or a simply white tee kept the look classic. Other men stepped out in dark flare jeans, striking a bold silhouette in a sea of wide-leg and straight fits.
Other attendees flexed their individual style. A cropped T-shirt was worn with heavily washed and creased skinny jeans. Leg warmers were layered over straight jeans. For a more grunge vibe, a patchwork plaid skirt was worn over relaxed jeans, cinched with a studded bel. A pair of brown jeans with a peel-away construction was punctuated by black Vibram FiveFinger shoes.
