Denver Nuggets Star Nikola Jokic Made NBA History

On Tuesday evening, the Denver Nuggets played the Phoenix Suns in Arizona.

The Nuggets won by a score of 125-123.

Nikola Jokic finished the victory with 23 points, 17 rebounds and 17 assists while shooting 9/16 from the field and 0/1 from three-point range in 35 minutes of playing time.

Jokic also made NBA history with his incredible performance.

Jokic is in the middle of another incredible season.

He came into the night with averages of 28.0 points, 12.6 rebounds, 10.6 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 57.3% from the field and 38.5% from three-point range in 56 games.

Ryan Blackburn of Mile High Sports wrote: “Final Rotations. Nikola Jokic goes for 23-17-17 and a game winner. Jamal Murray made some BIG buckets down the stretch.

Huge win for Denver here. Don’t get it twisted. This was one of the their tougher games remaining and a SUPER valuable game in the standings.”

Denver Nuggets This Season

The Nuggets are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 45-28 record in 73 games.

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and 6-4 over their last ten).

On the road, the Nuggets are 24-15 in the 39 games they have played away from Colorado.

Following the Suns, they will play their next game on Thursday when they host the Dallas Mavericks.

Last season, the Nuggets lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.

The Suns dropped to 40-33 in 73 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

They have won four out of their last ten games.
