BOSTON — The Detroit Pistons had just tied a franchise record with 13 consecutive wins, and Cade Cunningham was unhappy.
After an 18-point lead was whittled down to two in Indianapolis before the Pistons pulled it out with late free throws, Cunningham vented his frustration: “We just want to be the best versions of ourselves and tonight was not the best version of us,” Cunningham said. “So I’m not happy about that.”
